Essences
Wisdom of the Earth offers over 260+ single (Ingredient), pure medicinal-grade, hand-poured essential essences (oils) imported from, passionate farmers all over the world.
From ancient essences such as Frankincense, Galbanum, Myrrh and Sandalwood to relatively uncommon oils like Gaiac Wood and Cypress (Blue) from Australia, Spruce (Red) from Canada, and Neroli (Orange Blossom) from France or Egypt.
The essences are offered primarily in the 15 ml (approx. 450 drops) size, with some offered in both a 5ml (approx. 150 drops) as well as a 15 ml size, and the more costly or rare essences in only available in 2ml or 5ml.
Wisdom of the Earth does not offer blends, our approach is rather to educate individuals to layer non-diluted essences on the skin, allowing them to work in synergy with the body’s own intelligence.
These essential oils are of the highest quality and vibration. I feel that now more than ever they are one of the most valuable tools. Essential oils work on the physical level of course. ALL of the essential oils are anti-bacterial and so many essential oils are also anti-viral.
Because each bottle contains more chemotypes than we even know, each individual essences provides a broad spectrum treatment of whatever bacteria or virus might be around. This is like taking a broad-spectrum antibiotic. And when you work with 3-5 essences at a time, you are addressing the invader from maybe thousands of different angles.
This is why medicine from nature has the keys to address what humans might call “superbugs”. In addition to the physical level, high vibration essences equally assist in the energetic realm. Our personal electromagnetic fields extend from inches to many feet around us... or more.
Illness at its’ root starts in the energetic field. Any gaps open to fear, worry, anxiety are open doors for that very concern to jump in. The essences serve to keep us in alignment with our higher selves and connected to the Divine. The result is staying simultaneously grounded and resonating in a state of high vibration which is one of the most potent keys to staying well and thriving.
Essential Oils
An essential oil is the product of distilling plant material. Any part of the plant can be distilled, whether it be the leaves, needles, twigs, branches, bark, rinds of citrus fruit, flower petals or roots of a plant.
There are three main types of distillation, including steam distillation, solvent extraction, or expression. The entire process of making essential oils reflects the quality of the product. It is an ancient art with wisdom passed down from generation to generation of how to make the purest and highest vibration essences.
We carefully select artisans that care for the plants, harvest, distill, pour and even transport the essences with deep reverence and love for the plants and earth along every step of the way. The end product results in creating the purest and highest vibration essences available!
Hydrolats
Hydrolats are a product of the steam distillation process. As the plant material is steamed, the essence of the plant chemically bonds with water that passes through the plant material in the steaming process.
The actual essential oil is lighter in density and is skimmed off the top of the jar and the remaining product is called a hydrolat. (Think when you mix a jar with water and oil, the oil will float to the top and separate from the water.)
A hydrolat is different from pouring essential oil in a bottle of water as a hydrolat is actually infused with the essence.
The smell is much more subtle and is primarily used to clear, infuse, and brighten your energy field with the essence.
